As a child, I taught myself taxing classical piano pieces. Later on, I observed the ‘Vocal Divas’ and learned to sing dynamically, gaining a 5+ octave vocal range and other rare abilities, like a polyphonic ‘self-harmony’ tone I derived and adapted myself. Like my other disciplines, these unique characterstics present an opportunity for me to challenge an industry clique.
Though singing became more prevalent over time, I hold playing near and dear to my heart, as they are powerful tools I developed for my career, no differently than the visual art or other crafts I document. On Instagram, where I post the bulk of my singing examples in Highlights, Reels, Posts and IGTV videos, I am privileged to have been supported by industry leaders I aspire to, like Scott and Brian Nicholson, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, Scott Hoying, and one of the highest vocalists in the world, Dimash KudaiBergen.
My goal, as always, is to pave the way both artistically and personally with my pursuits. It has indeed been a privilege to have passionate people behind me, but ultimately, I owe it to even greater players on my side. I’m talking about willpower, of course.
